Job Details
Equally at home acting for debtors and creditors, this elite US headquartered law firm has one of the strongest restructuring offerings in the World. It advises distressed companies, their investors and creditors, as well as third parties interested in acquiring assets from distressed companies, across all industry sectors including energy and infrastructure, private equity, transport, real estate, TMT, manufacturing, and finance.
As a core practice in one of the most profitable US law firms, naturally, its Stateside offering is exceptional, as it is in parts of Europe. In London, the practice has always been well supported by non-specialist finance or corporate partners but has not had a truly dedicated restructuring offering, a situation that has become a tad more pressing following some recent retirements.
To fill this lacuna, and to enable it to properly exploit its global restructuring credentials, the law firm is keen to welcome a significant restructuring lateral/ team.
