SCRIPTED TV LAWYER
ORIGINAL SCRIPTED TV PRODUCER

Our client develops, produces, and co-produces original scripted programmes for the UK and global markets.
We wish to recruit a media lawyer with Scripted TV experience to join this friendly and highly creative team based in the heart of London.
Reporting to the Head of Legal who is based in Los Angeles, you will enjoy a wide-ranging role with specific responsibility for:
- liaising with external counsel and the production team
- negotiating and drafting script agreements, writing format agreements and option agreements for the scripted development team
- handling production legal service, including negotiating and drafting location agreements, content license agreements, cast agreements and all other production agreements that relate to the production of scripted programmes
- liaising with executives of SVOD platform(s)
You will have experience in legal and business affairs production of high-level scripted productions and development deals. Knowledge of the DGA, PACT, Equity and SAG is required.
You will be a team player, self-motivated and able to work independently and in collaboration with other team members.
