Commercial Senior Associate

Our client is seeking to recruit a Senior Commercial Lawyer to join their team in Southampton and contribute to the development of their Retail Sector.

Within this role, the team provide Commercial, IP, Data, and Technology advice to a wide range of clients. There will be the opportunity to develop your experience even further by working alongside a leading figure in the Retail Sector as part of a supportive and motivated team. From the start you will be an important component, expanding and contributing to the practice through leadership of successful tenders, and securing new client instructions. You will also maintain a focus on developing existing client relationships and opportunities for future work. Being directly involved in building the profile of the Retail Sector will also align you with the development of the firm and achievement of wider objectives. You will have support to develop your personal skills and knowledge in order to progress your career, your career path will be entirely based on merit and under your control from the outset.

The team has outstanding credentials which are supported by strong national legal directory rankings, continuously investing time and resources into technology to improve both their business, and the business of their clients.

To be considered for this role, you will be a motivated individual with the ambition to grow a practice that supports customer facing businesses meet the challenges of the digital market place. Due to your experience at senior level, you will have already started to develop your own network of contacts, as well as experience in managing and supervising junior lawyers. Having an enthusiastic and positive approach is key and by sharing achievements, you will be passionate to develop junior team members and increase their confidence. Strong communication is important, as is having excellent organisation skills to help you effectively meet strict deadlines when needed.
