Junior Finance Lawyer

A really exciting opportunity is available for either an experienced paralegal or a qualified lawyer up to 3 years’ post qualified at this highly reputable high street bank.  Working as part of the growing legal team in the wholesale banking division, we are looking for someone to support 3 other members of the team as well as run with their own vanilla loan deals, negotiate NDAs and participate in wider project work. The team is looking to develop a junior lawyer and you will be partnered with a more senior lawyer to gain exposure to more complex transactions in a fast-paced environment. Project work will mostly be strategic regulatory matters but a willingness to learn will mean you will experience a very varied workload.

For this role you need some experience of lending, should understand loans, and have knowledge of LMAs, either from private practice or in house. If you are not yet qualified as a lawyer, the team would support you qualifying by equivalent means. Personality and cultural fit will be incredibly important, and we are looking for someone adaptable, hungry to learn and who is a team player.
