This is a rare opportunity for a Competition Solicitor to join a highly ranked Legal 500 practice at the Senior Associate Level.

The Role

Exciting opening for a Senior Associate Competition Solicitor 4-8 PQE to join this Top 100, Legal 500 & Chambers-ranked team in London.

The team advises on a wide range of competition matters such as mergers, anti-trust, consumer/contracts matters and subsidy control.

You will work collaboratively within the team and across the wider firm with many matters requiring interesting and varied cross-departmental cooperation.

As a senior member of the team, you will have the opportunity to mentor and supervise more junior members of the team as well as be responsible for contributing to the team's business development initiatives - providing a platform to grow the department as well as your personal practice.

With an established internal workload, this is a truly stand-out opportunity where you can make an immediate impact.

The work will involve matters such as UK Merger control with some multi-jurisdiction aspects, anti-trust, matters relating to the National Security and Investment Act, regulated procurement, subsidy control, the UK internal market and trade, tariffs, WTO, TCA and EU legacy issues.

You will experience structured progression from day 1, be it in your aspirations for future leadership and development of expertise.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years PQE experience in Competition law
  • Excellent drafting skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills and a commercial perspective.
