We are looking to recruit a construction solicitor (contentious and/or non-contentious) to support ScottishPower’s Energy Networks business.
We are looking for a solicitor with either previous exposure to any of the following areas or an appetite to develop their skills in one of these fields:
- contentious construction
- non-contentious construction / construction procurement
- infrastructure projects
- litigation
Experience of working in the energy sector is a bonus but provided you have an appetite to work in the sector and are a UK qualified solicitor or Advocate/Barrister then we want to hear from you.

SP Energy Networks, a division of the ScottishPower group, is a Distribution and Transmission Network Operator. We keep electricity flowing to homes and businesses throughout Central and Southern Scotland, North Wales, Merseyside, Cheshire, and Shropshire. We do this through the network of overhead lines and underground cables which we own and maintain. No matter who you pay your bill to, we’re the people to contact if you have a power cut, need a new or upgraded power connection, or spot an issue with our equipment.
