NEW 2022: City Partner needed, who is self sufficient in terms of running very big ticket cases .. not high volume. You will likely be a City lawyer without the reliance cross departmental work/billings and/or the need for work from your corporate or banking departments (of your current law firm). City compensation .. the strategy employed to take this financially solid City through to the next level and beyond has been geared toward simplicity. That is, to concentrate its firepower on its solid historical client base and to 'know what it is good at'; but also, to inject some energy and gravitas into the Disputes/Commercial Litigation / department with a solid partner level hire. A sharp knowledge of law and a good reputation is preferred over a guaranteed following .. those looking to come out of the normal City firm for a better hands on work life are certainly welcome to apply.
