Private Funds Lawyer (2+ yrs.) for Renowned, Global Asset Manager (WFH/London)

Our client is a global asset manager who is recognised as the world’s no. 1 infrastructure investment manager. They provide investment solutions across Private Markets and Public Investments.

This organisation’s Private Credit business has seen significant growth over the years, and shows no sign of stopping. As such, a new role has arisen for a Private Funds lawyer to join this successful business and assist across all investment strategies, encompassing infrastructure debt, real estate and fund financing.

More specifically, you will:

• Be integral to fund structuring matters (including AIFs) as well as addressing maintenance issues and devising future fund strategy;
• Develop and maintain separate managed accounts (SMAs);
• Launch new fund vehicles in Luxembourg and Channel Islands;
• Drive further growth of the AIFM platform in Luxembourg;
• Advise on UK, EU and US applicable law and regulatory developments where and when appropriate.
• Assist with legal aspects of regulatory implementation projects to completion.

Private funds experience is an absolute pre-requisite for this role, and though you may be a specialist in a certain area e.g. private equity, debt, infrastructure or real estate funds, you must have a desire to broaden your horizons past the scope of work you currently engage with. Experience in any of the above funds is desirable and will be an appropriate platform to develop for our client.

You will likely hail from a US, Magic or Silver Circle law firm, but our client is open to applications from in-house lawyers with the relevant technical background.

Whatever your background, you will ideally have 2 years’ minimum experience with a desire to develop your career amongst top-tier lawyers and a dynamic front office of high achievers.
