Professional Support Lawyer

Full time or Part time considered 

Our client are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor with 6+ PQE, to take on a new role supporting the Litigation division of a highly reputable regional firm.

You will work within an established team alongside other PSLs and the library manager. The role will have a particular focus on curating existing know how resources and dealing with fee earner queries as well as identifying areas of best practice. 

The successful candidate will have strong technical skills and significant experience as a litigation lawyer, either in private practice or within an in-house team, as well as an excellent academic record. Previous experience in a PSL role is desirable but not essential.

You should be comfortable developing seminars for public presentations, training fee earners at all levels where you will display a deep understanding of the skills and knowledge required for litigation and dispute resolution law and practice as well as the ability to convey complex concepts in a confident and user-friendly manner.

The ideal candidate will have strong communications skills and the ability to use discretion, excellent IT skills and ideally previous experience of using alternate presentation software (such as Prezi) and webex (such as Adobe Connect).

You should be skilled at supporting members of the team at all levels and committed to ongoing learning and development across a broad range of commercial litigation matters.

Candidates can be based at any of our clients offices across East Anglia and Essex although you will be required to make yourself accessible to all locations for training purposes.
