Due to continued growth, our client are seeking Property Litigator with 2+ PQE to advise and support the Litigation team.
The successful candidate will independently manage with minimal supervision a full caseload of a wide variety of housing management litigation, including possession claims for anti-social behaviour, injunction applications, and complex arrears cases. Alongside this, you will also be expected to provide general housing management legal support to the business where required, including attending other offices on a regular basis to provide advice and support the Housing and ASB Teams.
You will need to have excellent client care skills and have the ability build relationships effectively with both clients and colleagues alike. You will also be tasked with supporting more junior members of the team and therefore you will need to have good communication skills. You will also be expected to offer training where needed.
You should have experience of either working in a law firm or the legal department of a landlord in a Housing Management/Litigation role including acting for Housing providers at court in a range of areas.
Previous advocacy experience is also essential.
The ideal candidate will need to have effective negotiating skills with the ability to influence and persuade, and be able to work under pressure on complex issues.
