In House Commercial Property Paralegal/CILEx - Bristol + Hybrid Working

Our client is part of a group with over 200 commercial and residential properties; they are in growth mode and have a rare opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Paralegal/Legal Executive to join their in house team. They are headquartered in Bristol with offices also in London and Dubai, where there will be opportunities to visit and work from (if desired).

The Group has a growth plan to acquire, design and develop land and commercial property. Investments will be across all real estate asset classes however there is a particular interest in elderly and healthcare related schemes such as nursing homes, retirement villages and specialist dementia care centres. This role will based at our clients headquarters in Bristol with the flexibility of hybrid working; it is anticipated that you will live within commutable distance of Bristol.

Your new role
Our client are looking for an experienced commercial property paralegal or legal executive to assist the team in evaluating potential deals and to manage transactions through to a successful completion. As they business is entrepreneurial and in growth mode, you can expect that each day will be different. You will get the opportunity to use all the skills you have developed in addition to learning many new ones. As the business develops, so too will the range of opportunities that you can get involved with; there is no limit or restriction to your development and progression. And where you need new skills, training will be provided.

This role will involve supporting the CEO with complex property responsibilities, including reviewing potential opportunities, checking on ownership and title, administration of property and land transactions including sales, purchase, leases & refinancing, Electronic & paper Land Registry searches & applications, Stamp Duty Land Tax calculations and returns, drafting and preparing documentation and third party communication.

About you
Our client are keen to hear from experienced paralegals or (part or fully qualified) legal executives - what is crucial is that you must have at least two years commercial property experience and be comfortable managing your own caseload. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to analyse information accurately. As this is an autonomous role, you will be tenacious and resilient and have a commercial, practical approach.
