Commercial Contracts Manager

This growing North East based diagnostics business is seeking a Commercial Contracts Manager to add to its team. You will sit at the heart of a growing, successful business in the life sciences / medical sector and will benefit from flexible/remote working options.

The role will be varied and duties will include:

• The full contracting process, including liaising with internal stakeholders, reviewing, analysing, drafting and administering commercial contracts plus supporting in the negotiation process.
• Developing contract templates and standard processes as well as managing general terms and conditions of sale and purchasing.
• Managing the contract database, ensuring that renewal and revision deadlines and obligations are fully met.
• GDPR - You will be a key member of the company's dedicated GDPR team, assisting with the provision of advice and guidance.

The key experience required is the review, negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts. Any exposure to GDPR would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite. Experience in the life science sector would also be beneficial but the business is generally very open minded as to sectoral experience, as long as you have solid commercial contracts experience.

We would envisage this position suiting someone with some existing experience in a Contracts Management role or perhaps a Commercial Solicitor looking for a change (most likely with a minimum of c. 3 years PQE although perhaps considerably more). The business offers flexibility to split your time between home and the office.
