In House Legal Counsel 5 + PQE, Reputable West Midlands Employer

Our client is a fast growing, well-established and respected West Midlands employer, who are currently embarking on an aggressive expansion strategy across Europe and looking for a 5+ PQE Lawyer to join its highly respected legal team, which has a fantastic track record of developing lawyers and progressing them up the ranks, with the Head of Legal starting as a junior lawyer in the business.

Backed by a global private equity firm, this is an extremely exciting time to be joining the business, which has acquired 5 new businesses in the last year and has further expansion planned in Europe over next few years.

Reporting directly to the Head of Legal, you will be the dedicated point of contact for one of the specific business units, responsible for wide variety of legal work, such as strategic projects, mergers and acquisitions, business as usual customer and supplier contracts, as well as pieces of data privacy, litigation, compliance and IP.

The role is suitable for somebody already working in-house who would like a more autonomy, a higher variety of legal work and exposure to stakeholders, or alternatively a private practice lawyer with a significant amount of generalist commercial expertise, looking for their first move in house, which will provide great development and exposure, but with fantastic support.

The business offers a genuine work life balance and the opportunity to work from home 2 or 3 days per week. The package includes the base salary, up to 30% bonus, £6,000 car allowance, 9% employer contribution to pension, private medical, retailer discounts and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
