Senior Legal Counsel - Digital Telecoms - London

A Senior Legal Counsel opportunity has arisen with a dynamic and market-leading technology telecoms provider of virtual networking systems. This role is based in central London where you will support the business and IT teams on new product launches in multiple jurisdictions. You will report to the Head of Legal and work closely with the Group General Counsel where candidates must demonstrate the initiative to work autonomously.

This opportunity offers considerable autonomy where you can lead on multimillion contracts and report to the General Counsel who is a highly respected International Lawyer with considerable telco and mobile operations knowledge. This position is ideal for a Legal Counsel (5-12yrs) who is pragmatic and capable to cope with last-minute commercial issues. While the senior management team is UK-based, you will have regular interaction with the EMEA and APAC offices to focus on a broad range of Commercial Contracts, IP/IT/Telecommunications with an element of Compliance and governance and M&A.
 

The Candidate must have a minimum of 4.5yrs PQE with training gained from a leading law firm and some prior in-house experience (or secondment) negotiating, advising and reviewing a broad range of commercial contracts. Candidates with Telecoms and/or mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) experience would be highly advantageous but not essential.
