Senior Legal Counsel- Commercial - International Health and Beauty Retailer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior lawyer to join a fast-paced and commercially focused legal team of a well-known retail brand.
Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will be responsible for negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including supply chain and logistics agreements as well as service agreements. You will work closely with the procurement team on contract tenders and negotiation, and work with the marketing teams on advertising campaigns and strategy. Providing legal advice throughout the business units, you will also have one direct report and will be responsible for the mentoring of other junior members of the team.
You must be a UK qualified lawyer of at least 7 years' PQE. Ideally, you will have extensive commercial contracts experience gained in a well-respected commercial team either in private practice or in-house. It would be useful to have experience supporting junior members of a legal team; having exceptional interpersonal skills will be useful when liaising with the different business units.
