This is one of the increasingly rare opportunities to join a US law firm and establish a banking and finance offering. While the firm has been in London for a number of years, the focus until now has been to establish corporate and litigation capabilities. Now those practices are in place, the London and US management team are actively looking for someone to front banking and finance in London. In the US they represent lenders and borrowers in all kinds of transactions ranging from vanilla lending through to structured finance and securitizations. The ideal candidate will be an existing partner with a client following in excess of £750,000. There are lots of opportunities for referrals from the US so this would help you build and develop your practice. This firm is able to move fast and key decision makers in the US are onboard this hire.
