Legal Counsel

A great opportunity for fans of motorsport to work for one of the biggest names in the industry. Our client is looking to recruit a Legal Counsel to assist the Head of Legal in respect of all legal and risk management advice relating to the Group businesses, as well as managing external advice from specialist advisors.

This is a varied generalist role dealing with a wide range of general commercial work including Commercial Contracts, IP & Media, Litigation and Property. A high percentage of the work would be the drafting, reviewing and negotiating of a wide variety of commercial contracts.

The role will suit a hands-on lawyer with broad commercial experience who is happy to deal with any legal issues or requirements of the business, with support from the Head of Legal and expert external counsel where required. The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' PQE coupled with a proven ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders across the business. The ability to manage risk is also essential.

We are keen to hear from candidates with a background in either commercial contracts or commercial property or commercial litigation.

The role affords hybrid working with the need to be in Cheltenham once or twice a week.
