An NQ construction solicitor is offered an outstanding opportunity to join a Legal 500 ranked construction team at this top tier national practice, in Nottingham.

The construction team in Nottingham form an integral part of a national construction practice working on major projects throughout the UK alongside their colleagues in construction and real estate across the country.

The successful NQ construction solicitor joining this nationally renowned construction team in Nottingham will undertake both contentious and non-contentious construction matters which will include advising on bespoke and standard form contracts, matters in the TCC, arbitration, adjudication, ADR, and mediation.
Projects undertaken are varied, complex, and challenging:
- Public sector – infrastructure, maintenance and development works, and highways
- Civil engineering – ports, rail, waste-water and sewage treatment plants
- Retail – new build and refurbishment
- Commercial development – industrial, retail, hotel, and leisure
- Energy – conventional and renewable facilities
- Education – higher education institutions, academy conversions, an BSF schemes
This position is ideally suited to NQ construction solicitors. Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:
- A strong academic background
- At least a single training seat in construction, either contentious or non-contentious
- Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
- Strong communication, negotiation and drafting skills
- An enthusiasm for business development and client relationship management
