Job Details
We are searching for a lawyer with solid Data Privacy experience to join one of the UK’s top banks. Sitting within the compliance function, this is a largely advisory position working as a team with the data protection consultants, and closely with the DPO, but offering legal advice. This is a second line function that provides advice in relation to high risk and complex issues that come up within the group. Matters could include horizon scanning, privacy notices, large scale projects, employment SARS, looking at new legislation, marketing materials and cookies etc as well as general legal advice.
PQE level is not important for this role as we are looking for someone who works well in team and has the DP knowledge. The role can be entirely remote as the team is already split in terms of locations and flexible hours can be considered. The team has recently restructured and is expected to grow offering longer term career opportunities.
