Defendant Catastrophic Injury Solicitor, London

The Catastrophic Personal Injury Team at this leading international defendant insurance practice deal with all aspects of defendant insurance litigation, including catastrophic injury, brain and spinal injuries. This role will involve assisting the team of partners and senior claims handlers with day to day case handling tasks and providing technical advice to long-standing clients, comprising major insurers on complex multi-track matters.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and well regarded team and to gain exposure to excellent quality work. Previous experience of dealing with a caseload of mid-high value defendant personal injury claims is essential, and you will preferably have some experience of complex catastrophic injury claims.

The successful applicant will be a solicitor with an interest in working in a team dedicated to providing quality technical advice. You will have experience of working in a commercial environment, an ability to apply relevant case law and to take proactive steps. An aptitude for teamwork, excellent communication skills and attention to detail are also essential for this role as is an ability to work under pressure, keep to deadlines and prioritise your own workload.
