The Role:
The team is looking to grow at Associate and Senior Associate across their Manchester and Leeds offices.
You will be involved in a broad diet of national and international Competition matters, including cartel investigations, international trade, merger control and funding issues. The work is complex and high-value, and you will have hands-on exposure to cases and a level of client contact that is unheard of in firms of this size.
A key part of the role will involve business development and mentoring junior team members, providing the opportunity to sharpen your leadership and commercial skills that are required as you climb the partnership ladder.
The firm offers a remuneration package at the top end of the market, an impressive bonus scheme, and good levels of flexibility.
Requirements:
- As a guide, this role would suit a Competition Lawyer with 2+ years PQE
- Experience gained at a leading national or international law firm
- Comfortable working independently and liaising with clients
- Willing to get involved in business development
