MEDIA / ADVERTISING / FILM & TV (1-6 PQE) - LONDON MEDIA BOUTIQUE

A fantastic position for a junior to senior level associate at this boutique London media firm to undertake work for a range of clients in the media and creative industries, with a particular focus on general commercial media, advertising and film and tv clients.  You are likely to have between 1 to 6 years post qualification experience and some experience of film and tv work.

On the film side, clients range from individual producers to financiers and distributors and typical agreements you will work on include drafting and advising on option agreements, writers agreement, talent agreements (including director, producer, artist and composer agreements), advising on structuring co-productions, joint ventures and bank financing.

For TV work, clients include TV production companies, broadcasters, distributors, talent and banks and other financiers and work includes advising on all the legal and related issues involved in the development, production and exploitation of television programmes. There is a strong focus on scripted work, particularly production work for feature dramas and documentaries.  

As well as some background in Film and TV, you will need to demonstrate a commitment to high levels of client service, an ability to turn documents and advise quickly and efficiently, and the flexibility to deliver work product to tight deadlines.  Both an eye for detail and a pragmatic approach to problem solving is essential.
