About the Company

The Opportunity

The business now has a need for a Senior Legal Counsel to join and play a key role in providing commercial legal advice to the business. In addition, you will draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and provide legal support on projects, governance, regulatory matters. You will be part of a small and cohesive legal team which is highly integrated within the business and you will assist in mentoring and leading more junior members of the team.

About You

The position will suit a lawyer with a corporate or corporate/commercial skill-set. The business will be looking for an individual with the same values of the business and as a result, this is genuinely a really lovely place to work. The nature of the work could suit an individual coming directly from private practice, or an individual who has worked in a broad in-house position. Healthcare industry experience is not essential but developing an interest in this sector would be useful. Strong interpersonal skills, a commercial approach and can-do attitude are all key. Excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate sensitively through highly complex matters are also essential.
