Commercial Lawyer

I am working for a full service renewable energy business that has about 100 employees across its London and Bristol offices that is looking to hire a lawyer into its Bristol office.  This role will report into the Group General Counsel who is based in London and will benefit for the support of a paralegal and junior lawyer.

This role is suited to a lawyer with at least 5 years of experience working on commercial contracts.  You will be the sole lawyer in Bristol working on a range of commercial matters so you should be comfortable working with autonomy and being directly involved with the front office workings.  As my client is in growth mode they are looking for the successful applicant to help develop group wide policies and develop a framework for the business and create new processes that the business can work to as well as be prepared to get involved in all aspects of the business.  

This is an excellent opportunity for a mid/senior lawyer to build up the sort of experience that would be ideal for a future role as Head of Legal.  You will be able to play a major part in my client’s growth into Europe and its development into a fully operational SME.
