Private Client Solicitor - Buckinghamshire

Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Private Client Associate to join their team and play an integral role in the future development of the practice.

This Private Client team are looking for an experienced and capable Private Client Solicitor to join a successful, well established and growing team.

Desirable experience:

• be able to manage a varied caseload
• have experience of dealing with high net worth clients
• be a good business developer and have the ability to build their own relationships
• be STEP qualified (or nearing completion)
• be personable, self-motivated and proactive
• be able to build strong working relationships internally and externally
• have excellent verbal and written communication

Excellent technical experience in a range of private client matters including: wills, tax and estate planning, all estate administration, court of protection and powers of attorney, all aspects of trusts including creation, administration, termination and tax, is desirable.

You will ideally have some prior private client experience and have trained with a highly regarded city, regional or national firm with excellent academics. We are seeking an individual with some experience and interest in private client tax advisory work, likely to have a minimum of 1-2 PQE due to the nature of this role.  This is an excellent opportunity to develop experience in our broad based team, recognised for providing a real alternative to the city for complex private client matters given the quality of their private client offering.

A significant volume of the work is for HNWI so any previous experience advising related clients would be an advantage. You can expect to advise a number of family offices and international families as to their ongoing affairs and international trust structures, including private trust company structures.

You can also expect to work closely with a number of business families advising on existing structures set up for the management and governance of the family business, its interaction with family trusts and associated estate planning measures.
