Senior Legal Counsel- Technology - International Health and Beauty Retailer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior lawyer to join the fast-paced and commercially focused legal team of a well-known retail brand.
About the role;
Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will be responsible for negotiating a wide range of technology and marketing contracts such as IT, eCommerce, SaaS, media, and digital contracts. You will work closely with the procurement team on contract tenders and negotiation and be the main legal contact for the IT and eCommerce teams. Providing legal advice throughout the business units, you will also have one direct report and will be responsible for the mentoring of other junior members of the team.
About you;
You must be a UK qualified lawyer of at least 8 years' PQE. Ideally, you will have extensive IT/Technology contracts experience gained in a well-respected commercial team either in private practice or in-house. A solid understanding of GDPR and other privacy issues would also be helpful in this role. It would be useful to have experience supporting junior members of a legal team; having exceptional interpersonal skills will be useful when liaising with the different business units.
