Job Details
Our client is looking to offer an experienced Commercial Property lawyer the opportunity to join their creative and dynamic Commercial team in Maidstone. The role will involve working on a variety of projects and providing property support on corporate transactions, mostly M&A.
The team confidently handle a variety of matters from small leasehold acquisitions, to providing advice on process and strategy for managing and consolidating large portfolios. They advise a broad range of clients from local start-ups to multinational businesses, with a key focus on understanding their client's commercial aims and providing clear guidance.
Within this role, you will be expected to lead on client matters including drafting and advising on key documents, such as contracts for lease and contracts on sale and purchase. You will also be leading on property aspects of corporate transactions, advising clients on SPA property warranties and disclosures, as well as property documents. In addition to this, you will have a keen interest in business development whilst playing a key role in building and maintaining client and referrer relationships.
To be considered for this role, you will have at least a minimum of 5 years' PQE, with relevant experience in transactional property matters. Having an existing client base would be ideal, however this is not essential. You will be required to take on a high degree of responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment, therefore having a self-starting desire to provide an excellent client service with the ability to build strong relationships is important.
