Solicitor - Real Estate - 0-5 PQE

Real Estate & Projects – 0-5 PQE – Central London 

Our client, a very well established, well regarded, full-service law firm, is looking to add to its numbers with the appointment of a solicitor or legal executive for their Real Estate & Projects Team.

Based in Central London, the firm provide a full spectrum of legal services with clients ranging from some of the world’s largest multinational corporations to private individuals. They also act for a significant number of charities, Registered Providers and Regulators. Almost 200 years of history has shaped our client to one of the UK’s leading full-service law firms.

The Team and opportunity

The role will specialise in site acquisition and development projects. The role will cover a full range of property related legal issues from giving advice on draft section 106 agreements, development agreements, conditional contracts and potential title problems through to legal completion. 

An important part of the role is to provide direct support and assistance to a partner in the team, whilst also helping with the management and development of junior fee earners and contributing more widely to the team and its growth. 

The opportunity will include responsibility for the day to day running of files to include, but not limited to, drafting and negotiating leases and licences (acting for both landlords and tenant); site acquisition and disposal; drafting full reports on title; section 106 agreements and planning; and development agreements. 

The Candidate

We would like to hear from either a solicitor or legal executive with between 0 and 5 years’ PQE. You will have the relevant experience for the role, as outlined above, along with strong attention to detail, excellent administrative and organisational skills but above all, the ability to deal with a significant caseload, working well under pressure, autonomously or as part of team.
