Family Paralegal

Two Experienced Family Paralegals are required for a specialist law firm based across Merseyside

Your new company
This is an expanding, highly-regarded, multi-practice law firm with offices across the Merseyside area. The firm have an excellent reputation across the North West, covering law in both personal and business settings, and have a highly specialised family law department with an excellent client base. The firm are recruiting for two family paralegals, to work in the firms' Woolton and Liverpool City Centre offices.

Your new role
These positions are based in Woolton and Liverpool City. As a family paralegal, you will assist fee earners and solicitors in the firm with their family caseload, whilst proving to be an excellent point of contact for new and existing clients. Alongside this, your typical roles and responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:

• To work closely with partners and lawyers of the firm to handle family law cases.
• To undertake research relating to family law in order to provide advice.
• To prepare important legal bundles for court.
• To build and maintain positive relationships with the firms clients.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, you must have gained experience in a family law environment previously. This may be as a legal assistant or paralegal, and can be private practice or in-house. It is also essential that you have completed the LLB/GDL degree, receiving a minimum 2:1 grade. Having the LPC certificate would also be beneficial.
