This planning solicitor role will see you handle a very interesting mix of both contentious and advisory based planning work. The department attracts most of its work on a stand-alone basis and is not simply a support function for other departments. The department has a super client base and acts for a number of high profile names on cutting edge planning matters.
What you'll need to succeed
You should be a planning lawyer at NQ-3 pqe. You will have a well rounded and commercial approach. Applications may also be considered from real estate or environmental lawyers with a genuine interest in planning who are keen to retrain into this discipline.
