The company has a diverse interests, with a focus in recent years on acquiring real estate in ares of regeneration.

The Opportunity

The company has a new opportunity for a real estate lawyer to join its new office in Bristol city centre. In this role, you will have responsibility for managing your own portfolio, including landlord and tenant, estate management and development work. You will be part of a team (seven lawyers in total, based in offices around the UK) and you will work closely with the company’s highly respected General Counsel. 

Day-to-day responsibilities will include providing strategic and commercial advice to the business with a focus on supporting the asset managers. Working closely with the business, you will be proactive in identifying potential risk for the business and offering solutions.

About You

A strong commercial real estate background is essential. Excellent drafting and negotiating skills are also essential with asset management experience being key. Any additional residential, planning or litigation skills would also be welcome. 

The role will suit an individual with strong commercial acumen who wants to work closely with the business and who is interested in a wide-ranging role; who can manage a range of tasks at one time and who can deal with a variety of people at different levels. Strong interpersonal skills are also key. This is an excellent opportunity for a real estate lawyer to join a market leader in a sought-after in-house position with responsibility from day one.
