Residential Conveyancer - Newark

CRA Consulting are working alongside a leading regional law firm who are looking to recruit a Residential Conveyancer to join their well-established team in Newark. This is a great opportunity to join and experience working for a leading regional firm, yet still secure a work/life balance.

The Role
In this role, you will advise clients of the firm on a range of Residential Conveyancing matters, from start to finish. You will work as part of a team but handle your own caseload of matters including (but not limited to) sales and purchases, re-mortgages and newbuilds, shared ownership leases, assents and severances of joint tenancies and rights to buy matters. You will handle both unregistered and registered properties as well as freehold and leasehold transactions.

The Person
You will ideally:
*Have previous experience of advising on a range of residential conveyancing matters;
*Have a forward thinking attitude and the motivation required to deal with an often busy caseload;
*Have excellent technical and working knowledge of the conveyancing transaction process;
*Be confident applying all relevant case-law and legislation when running your caseload and also be able to ensure that you can work to Lexcel and CQS quality standards;
*Have excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written;
*Have excellent client care skills and be able to communicate professionally to clients but also show empathy in sometimes stressful circumstances;
*Have excellent organisational skills and be able to work in time sensitive situations; and
*Be confident using a range of IT packages, including internal Case Management Systems.
