CLIENT

Our client is a leading renewable energy company with operations mostly based in emerging and developing markets. They design, develop and acquire sites across solar, biomass, on-shore and off-shore wind and have a growing tidal business too. They have enjoyed strong growth over the last ten years and with a recently acquired strategic investment partner are now looking to accelerate this through further acquisitions.

POSITIONS
 

These roles will be located in the London office of the company where over 175 people are based.

One position is intended to focus on Corporate work with a particular focus on M&A as the business has a big deal slate and significant plans to grow through acquisition.

The second position will focus on Construction and Operational matters with over 45 sites currently in either planning or construction and large numbers of assets operating around the world. 

The successful candidates will cover a wider range of work in addition to Corporate / Construction to include group-wide Corporate, Commercial and Finance matters as part of a team of sixteen other lawyers worldwide. 

This will include but is not limited to managing deals, drafting and negotiation of documents, structuring transactions, advising senior members of the business and liaising with external advisers and counsel.

CANDIDATE
 

The successful candidates will most likely be working in busy Corporate, Projects / Project Finance or Construction departments of a top ranked law firm and be common Law qualified with 4+ PQE.

In-house experience on a secondment or permanent basis is a plus.
