Job Details
A unique opportunity has arisen for a talented lawyer with a broad knowledge of global corporate governance and international securities to join the high-calibre legal team of a NYSE listed global Big Data/Software company, who partner with the most important institutions in the world and whose data has been used to stop terrorist attacks, discover new medicines and gain an edge in global financial markets.
Working closely and directly with the General Counsel, CFO and company leadership, you will be a key contributor to the legal team and the company as a whole, helping the business navigate through the myriad of international equity and corporate governance related obstacles around the world. You will also have the opportunity to work on a wide array of legal matters, including negotiating commercial agreements with Fortune 50 companies and working on international regulatory, intellectual property and employment matters.
Ideally you will be 3-7 PQE, having trained at a top tier City or US law firm and preferably with some in-house experience, in a comparable environment. The role will require you to have a sound knowledge of global corporate governance laws such as international entity formation and compliance, regulatory filings and best practices for public a company.
More importantly, you must be able to bring an incredible energy and the executive presence to take ownership of the role and create positive change.
