Commercial Paralegal at Global Tech Firm

We have recently been instructed by a well-known technology company in relation to a paralegal role.

They are ideally seeking a contracts manager/commercial paralegal with at least 2-3 years' of experience in a tech environment (although not essential). The successful applicant will be working closely with the in-house legal team, as well as with external lawyers. Flexible working/WFH is under consideration, however, the office is based just outside of London (within 20 miles of the City).

Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly reports for various divisions on recent legal updates.
• Preparing and presenting training to the legal team on key legal and sector updates.
• Taking responsibility for maintaining the legal precedents and consider any changes to be made to reflect new legislation and case law.
• Drafting and negotiating various service agreements and documents, contributing to conference calls and attending face to face meetings throughout the business.

Requirements:

• Law degree / GDL
• A self-starter with a proactive approach to work
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence in navigating the business and systems
• Ability to multi-task and work quickly
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Enthusiasm to take on new tasks and responsibilities
• Highly literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• An interest in technology and business
