The Role

The firm is looking for an entrepreneurial Property Litigation Partner to join their office in the heart of Leeds.

You will work closely with other Partners more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards and be part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team.

The firm work closely with the social housing and real estate departments who are as much the litigation teams' clients as external instructors. Their client base ranges from portfolio holders including charities and retailers, developers plus social and institutional landlords.

This is an opportunity to work on high profile disputes, which includes many iconic builders across the Yorkshire region and further afield. Your will cover aspects such as leasehold disposal issues, L&T matters, service charge disputes, asset management, judicial review, tenant insolvency, valuation disputes, enforcement of covenants, professional negligence and rent reviews.

You will work closely with other Partners more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards. You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team.

Requirements

  • You will be a Property Litigation Partner with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE)
  • You will have first-class communication
  • Outstanding business development skills and an entrepreneurial flair
  • Experience of overseeing a team is desirable, however not essential
  • A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous

Remuneration

  • Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience, on offer is an excellent benefits package and very lucrative bonus scheme
