SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL | LONDON | INSURANCE SECTOR CLIENT | £100k+

Our client, a major UK insurance company, is looking for an experienced solicitor to join its in-house legal team.

Role Overview

This is a permanent role to join the established in-house legal team at this insurance sector company.

The responsibilities of this role are wide ranging and includes providing legal support across the areas such as:

• Commercial contracts
• Regulatory and compliance
• Corporate and M&A

Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking and commercial lawyer with the following experience/characteristics:

• Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' pqe working in a corporate/commercial department within a recognised team in private practice or in-house.
• Previous experience working in the insurance sector is desirable, but not essential.
• The ability to foster and maintain excellent business relationships with a commercial approach.
• The focus of your time will be spent giving advice on corporate/commercial and regulatory work.
