Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Real Estate Associate (NQ+) to join their Southampton office. The ideal individual will have trained with an established regional, city or national firm and have gained a solid overview across a broad range of real estate transactions. You will be able to demonstrate a consistently strong academic profile and some regional ties to Southampton are preferable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a case load and advise clients both at client meetings and via advice letters and emails.
• Draft client documentation relevant to the matter including completion statements and Land Registry applications and SDLT Returns.
• Advise clients in person and in writing.
• Respond to enquiries from new clients giving further information about LA services and cross reference to other relevant fee earners.
• Research new issues to find appropriate and creative solutions for clients.
• Comply with firm-wide/Solicitors Regulation Authority and Quality Conveyancing Scheme procedures, for example, compliance, HR and accounts.
• Develop and influence evolving aspects of Property law.
• Support, promote and build relationships with colleagues.
• Business development and marketing.
• Keep current with the latest legal knowledge and working practices.

The team frequently advise on complex commercial property matters in the UK and internationally including:

- Portfolio Management

- Real Estate Finance

- Landlord & Tenant

- Development Projects

- Investment Opportunities
