In-house Disputes Lawyer

Experienced litigation and disputes resolution lawyer sought for an in-house role with leading PLC.

Arbuthnot Yon has been instructed exclusively on an opportunity with a listed business seeking to appoint an experienced litigation and disputes resolution lawyer to advise the business on complex, high value litigation and dispute resolution.

Reporting into the Head of Legal and forming part of a large established Midlands based legal team, you will be responsible for minimising and managing dispute risks and strategy as well as advising on a full remit of claims, disputes, litigation and arbitrations both in the UK and internationally.  The majority of litigation relates to contractual issues with customers and suppliers, but you will also advise on broader areas such as construction, property, PI and compliance related disputes.

Your role will see you touching upon all aspects of the business, and you will have significant interaction with senior management, commercial, customer, procurement, health & safety teams as well as the legal team. 

We are keen to hear from litigation and disputes resolution lawyers with at least 5 years’ PQE gained in-house or in private practice who would enjoy working in a commercial in-house environment.  You will also have an opportunity to broaden your experience beyond pure litigation work.
