This is a broader than average role of this type and may appeal to lawyers who do not want to restrict themselves to too narrow a field of expertise.

As a Data Privacy / Information Law Solicitor in Leeds, you can expect exposure to a wide range of work, to include:
- Pure Data Protection work
- Data protection as part of a commercial transaction, including drafting commercial agreements, privacy notices and GDPR documentation
- Cross border GDPR issues
- Subject Data Access Requests
- Data breach advice and cyber security issues
- Information sharing
- GDPR compliance
- Compensation claims
- Freedom of Information Act matters
- Environmental Information Regulations matters
- Information Law Tribunal matters
- Policies and protocols
- If desired some potential for wider regulatory & compliance work around CQC regulations, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Environmental, Consumer & Trading Standards, Licensing and Bribery & Corruption
