Head of Legal - In House

THE ROLE

This is a new role to join a growing business as the Head of Legal.

You will be expected to work at board level, managing a legal team advising on commercial and regulatory matters the key areas of work indluce;

Company/commercial issues including contracts, consumer rights, GDPR, and advertising

Preparation, review and approval of bids, tenders and contracts

Liaison with external Counsel and regulators

Managing and overseeing delivery of the Company's compliance monitoring programme,

Corporate Governance; maintenance of the Company's internal legal and regulatory policies and procedures.

Assisting all departments with general commercial legal and regulatory issues as required handling; asset finance, credit broking and insurance distribution activities

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this role you will have c 5+ PQE with a strong commercial background and the management skills necessary to develop and manage an in house legal function.

Candidates will ideally have relevant in house experience in the financial services/consumer credit sector
