Job Details

Our client is a world-class leading professional services firm with over 5000 employees globally in 21 countries.  The fee earners are supported by a wide-ranging team of experts who ensure the day-to-day business runs smoothly.  Due to growth and increased demand we are seeking a commercial lawyer to join the team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience of English commercial law, gained either in a law firm or a corporate.  You must be qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.  The role will require reviewing and drafting a wide range of third-party contracts, including technology, consultancy and events agreements.  There will also be complex managed service agreements to advise on.  The postholder will need to liaise with the Strategic Sourcing Team and members of the company across the UK and Europe.   As the role develops the successful individual will be encouraged to take a more strategic view on processes and help make improvements where possible.

We are seeking an individual with a positive, can-do attitude and a desire to learn and grow.  You must be a team player who enjoys collaboration but equally able to show initiative and work under your own steam.  It is essential you can have strong commercial acumen and can demonstrate a balanced approach to business risks.  The role will require an ability to manage a diverse workload and be able to prioritise deadlines.
