Job Details
Our client is a leading global investment manager with a significant portfolio of direct and indirect real estate investments and development projects. A new team has been established within the business to look at conceiving, designing and executing construction projects, from hotels to shopping malls, cinemas, commercial office premises and other construction-intensive investment transactions. Leading the Transaction Execution side of the business, they have hired a former Partner from one of their key external law firms in the USA. This individual is growing a global team to sit within the construction group and provide legal advice and execution support on transactions as well as having input into deal structures and concepts.
A qualified lawyer with 5-10 years’ PQE, you will ideally possess a significant background in private practice, preferable with a leading law firm in construction or in a construction-heavy commercial projects role. Partnering with the business across EMEA, you will lead transactions from an execution standpoint, manage external counsel, perform an advisory role in relation to the nature and structure of transactions and generally lend your legal skills to this front-line business role in a commercial context.
You may have the opportunity to evolve a team longer term and will certainly be a pivotal key person within the business.
