An excellent opportunity for someone looking for something a bit different.  This offshore law firm has been in London for 20+ years.  All the lawyers are English or Commonwealth admitted and largely have been hired from big UK and US law firms such as Freshfields, Slaughter and May, Norton Rose etc.  You will gain a broad range of banking & finance work including:-

  • real estate finance;
  • acquisition finance;
  • fund finance;
  • energy and natural resource finance;
  • project finance.
  • Restructuring:
  • enforcement of security;
  • loan to own transactions;
  • distressed lending;

You will have the opportunity from an early stage to get involved in the firm's marketing efforts to the large international firms.  You will also find that you have a much better work/life balance working on the offshore end of transactions rather than being lead Counsel.  This also offers the opportunity at some point to go and work in another office such as Cayman, Bermuda or the BVI.  For senior candidates that do well partnership is a very real possibility in a firm that has been extremely profitable and successful.  An excellent salary and bonus is on offer.
