Job Details
Our client is a fast growing tech company who acts for a wide range of industries and big brands. As our client continues to accelerate its growth globally, this role has been created to join the UK operations and a legal team of 2. This position can be based anywhere in the UK (with travel to London when required).
Reporting into the Head of Legal you will support UK operations, based in London and comprising of teams such as HR, finance, product, sales and IT.
You will:
- Provide support on a range of corporate & compliance matters such as corporate insurance policies, set up of international subsidiaries and knowledge of corporate governance processes.
- Provide legal support to HR on employment matters.
- Review and negotiate commercial contracts to include other standard documents such as T&Cs, customer & supplier contracts.
- Be comfortable with being a point of contact within the business regarding a range of legal topics.
You will also:
- Be qualified in England & Wales or other jurisdiction and have a minimum of 1 year' in-house legal experience.
- Have prior experience of providing support with corporate governance and internal compliance activities.
- Have prior experience working with commercial contracts.
- Be willing to expand your experiences into other commercial tasks such as contract management, helping to establish systems, processes and procedures.
- Be a good communicator, initiative-taker and have a drive to be successful.
