Our client was founded to champion and foster entrepreneurial creativity within the global fashion industry, and has since emerged as ‘an organization to watch’ in this exciting space – with their high profile and ground breaking projects regularly being reported in the news.

They are now seeking their first legal counsel to join the close-knit team and help support the business through a sustained period of growth, with the business already having expanded considerably with offices now in London, Milan, New York and other exciting locations.

Reporting to the CFO you will be responsible for managing all legal affairs for the business.  The role will be hugely varied and autonomous although you will also be fully supported and encouraged by a phenomenal leadership team. 

The role will involve working on innovative projects, on an international basis, and building key relationships with the C-Suite and all other internal departments.  It will also allow you to put your own stamp on the business - with huge potential to grow within the role and shape the future vision of the legal function.

In terms of background, you will be a commercial / IP lawyer who is comfortable with commercial contracts.  Ideally you will have some experience in-house but this is not essential.  You will be at ease advising senior stakeholders on a wide range of issues.

You will also be comfortable applying sound legal advice on a risk-based approach, and have the ability to explain legal principles in an easily understood manner to all internal stakeholders.

Most importantly you will have a calm, collaborative style - with a good sense of humour.
