Professional Indemnity Associate - FI D&O

THE FIRM

A commercially-oriented law firm with offices in the UK and internationally.

THE ROLE

An experienced coverage / financial lines solicitor is now sought to join the Professional & Financial Risks team.

You will be working in an insurance group which acts for most of the financial lines insurers in the market and their insureds.

Many of the matters handled are high profile both in the insurance market and in the national newspapers.

The work is predominantly coverage - providing advice to London market insurers on D&O, FI and crime matters.

ABOUT YOU

A solicitor 2pqe+ you will ideally have experience in acting for insurers on a wide range of matters to include FI D&O claims, and the defence aspects.

You will also be able to represent individuals (directors, approved persons and senior managers) in regulatory (particularly FCA) investigations and proceedings.

The work will include BBB claims, handling relatively small stock losses to multi-million dollar frauds arising from employee dishonesty, third party fraud, forgery and false documents, cyber extortion and hacking.
