COMMERCIAL LITIGATION (HONG KONG) (3 - 6 PQE) (USD 170,000 - USD 230,000)
One of the undisputed heavyweights in the offshore market, this firm now have a requirement for a junior to mid-level commercial litigator with between 3 - 6 years' PQE. You will be admitted in either the UK, Australia, New Zealand or Singapore, and will have gained your experience at a highly-regarded national or international law firm.
The role will involve a wide range of commercial litigation, restructuring and insolvency matters sourced from Asia and involving British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands entities, structures and issues. In particular, the work includes shareholder disputes (eg derivative actions, unfair prejudice petitions and JV disputes), board disputes, valuation disputes arising from major M&A transactions; contentious and non-contentious insolvency, solvent and insolvent liquidations, major restructurings, other distressed entity work, court-supervised corporate matters (including shareholder and creditor schemes of arrangement, capital reorganisations and company restorations) security enforcement, judgment/award enforcement, contentious private client work, investment funds disputes and general advisory work. All of the work has an international or cross-border element and the firm regularly advises on high profile matters for blue chip international clients.
