Experienced insurance/litigation legal assistant required for a growing law firm in Birkenhead.
Your new company
A progressive, expanding law firm based in Birkenhead. The firm have offices across the UK and are looking at growing their RTA and insurance department due to an increasing workload and client base. The firm cover a range of RTA centred practices, including insurance, recoveries, fraud and personal injury, on behalf of major insurance companies and individual claimants.
Your new role
As a commercial uninsured loss recovery legal adviser, your typical roles and responsibilities would be:
- To assist in the progress in an appropriate and timely manner, making use of the firms Case Management Systems and using the agreed internal procedures and practices
- To assess losses at all times to ensure that all the clients and source receive appropriate, professional and timely manner
- Ensure pertinent legal advice is provided and client are kept fully informed on the progress of the claim in support of the file handlers
- To deal with post, telephone calls and emails expeditiously and to ensure that not worked on lists and to do lists are kept up to date
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this position, you must have some previous experience of insurance and/or litigation. It is also essential that you have completed the LLB degree, receiving a minimum 2:2 grade. There is a lot of exposure to both clients and individuals in this role, so good communication and organisation skills are vital.
