We have been briefed by a leading offshore law firm to locate an ambitious associate for their highly rated disputes practice. Solicitor or barrister with a strong commercial litigation and/or insolvency profile, the ideal candidate will be qualified to practice in England & Wales, Australia, New Zealand, Cayman Islands or British Virgin Islands and have circa 3-6yrs experience on a UK scale. Hong Kong admitted lawyers will also be considered but will need to be dual-admitted in one of the jurisdictions mentioned above.
In all cases, a strong client service ethos, sharp mind and willingness to take responsibility from an early-stage will be imperative. Chinese language skills beneficial but not essential.
The matters on offer spans complex, high value, international cross border litigation and will see the successful candidate acting on some of Asia's largest offshore corporate, insolvency/restructuring and shareholder disputes.
